  Great burgers, prepared perfectly great menu choices, exemplary of southern chow. Much like a good times, or hamburger stand but much much better, drive up/walk up only. No indoor seating or bathroom.

  Another fantastic Cookout! I always have an exciting experience here. My favorite thing to order is the Cookeville Cookout Tray. For only $5.59, including tax, you get to choose one main item, two sides and a medium drink. But the fun doesn't stop there! Next, 1-2 of your chosen items will be switched out for a similar, or completely different item from the expansive menu. They box up your meal for you and wrap each item in aluminum foil to keep your tasty mystery treats warm (and also so as not to spoil the surprise!). Worked late and can't decide what you want for dinner? Let the Cookout Team handle it! Your date says she's good with eating anything, but you're a little scared to choose the wrong food? Let the Cookout Team take the blame! Overall -- great place, great food, great fun. Had to knock one star off, however, because the team is so committed to the surprise that sometimes, even if you tell them you just want a regular Cookout Tray and not the mystery box, they'll pull a little switcheroo surprise anyways. Appreciate the fun, but sometimes I just know what I want.
