  I haven't had the food here, but I hear it's great! Father Tom's has an outstanding beer selection. Yeah, I know it's a bar, but even so the beer selection is competitive. Also, if it's too crowded at Red Silo for you to get your favorite Red Silo beer, Father Tom's may have it on draft. Pretty cool atmosphere in here too; classy.

  I have been here a couple of times alone and with friends. There are some great points and some low points, which makes this review one of the tougher I've written.
  
  First the good: the beer selection is wonderful. If there's a small time brewery in 250 miles, they've got their beer. The likes of include Wiseacre, Red Silo, and Highland (a personal favorite of mine). The food is also pretty good. If you enjoy typical pub food, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
  
  Now for some real gripes. FTP has a known reputation in town for being a VERY cliche atmosphere, and it's palpable. Walking in the door was a very disorienting experience the first time. Sitting at the bar, I feel like I don't belong there. After speaking to the bartender, who seems like a nice guy, I REALLY feel like I don't belong there. Regulars get chit-chat, I don't. I've spoken to many locals about this and I'm not the only one who has experienced this.
  
  So, if you're going to make this a regular place and are willing to deal with some up-front resistance, then it's a fantastic place to be. But if you're looking for a welcoming environment and relatable employees, I would look elsewhere.

  Great food! Just moved here from California and finally found a place that serves food like back home. The burgers are good and the beer cheese soup was the bomb!! Will definitely come back.
